Happy Friday from everyone in Room 5.

This week we learned a new sound ‘ow’ and practiced our common words ‘how, where, now, too’. We have one more sound to cover before Christmas and that is ‘ou’ as in ’round’ and we will cover this next week. In maths we have been consolidating addition and subtraction by learning how to use the number square to help us add and subtract 10.

We have been working really hard on learning our lines and songs for the christmas concert. This will be on Wednesday 10th December at 9:30 and we can wear anything festive.

CJ: I had fun doing the jotter tasks and weekend news.

AT: I have enjoyed learning our new sound ‘ow’ for ‘meow’

AD: I enjoyed making a Christmas Card for my mum and dad.

LS: I liked drawing with Leo during play.

BK: I really liked learning take away 10 sums and enjoyed the number square.
