Hello,

In Room 1 this week we have been learning the sounds ‘a’ and ‘t’ along with three new common words: a, at and the.

We applied our new words to our recount writing, describing our September weekend through our pictures.

We have been learning to order and identify numbers to 10.

This afternoon we explored a ‘Discover Dome’ which had interesting materials in it including a globe, compass, wood and gems. Our discovery dome came with a big question: ‘What makes our world wonderful?’ We came up with amazing ideas such as flowers, sun and rain, colours and food. We can’t wait to see where our question takes us.
