Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Room 8

We have had a very busy but fun week here in room 8!

In numeracy, we have been rounding to the nearest 10, we learned that we can round numbers up or down to make them friendlier – we even have a rhyme to help us to remember!

In literacy, we have been doing lots of work on our class novel – Matilda, including exploring Matilda’s feelings, and retelling the story through a comic strip.

In handwriting we have practiced joining up our letters, and in writing we have been focussing on adjectives.
