Welcome to our blog!

This week, we have been learning;

S – ‘We carved pumpkins!’

Y – ‘We made an Egyptian necklace with paper plates.’

O – ‘We made menus for our French Restaurant topic.’

L – ‘We are learning ‘Diamonds in the Sky’ in Makaton to share at our Nurture Assembly.’

A – ‘We got to sit on the benches at assembly for being the best class. This was our second time doing this. We are very proud of this achievement.’

D – ‘We designed pumpkins on our whiteboards before carving them.’

A – ‘We wrote instructions and drew a plan to help us.’

QJ – ‘We learned new common words this week – five, fourteen, fifteen and second. You can spell the word ‘second’ by chopping it into syllables, like sec-ond.’

E – ‘We learned how to carve a pumpkin and wrote instructions.’

L – ‘At assembly we chose the song ‘I’m Still Standing’ by Elton John because if we fall down we always get back up!’

L – ‘Some of us got to dance at the front for assembly.’

R – ‘ We drew pumpkins in the den.’
