Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Room 2 :-)

Room 2 have had a busy week in Primary 1. We have had lots of visitors, including Ian from our Chaplaincy team, all popping by to get to know our names and faces.

We have been learning lots of new routines and expectations of school life and have enjoyed getting to see and meet new friends.

For our Literacy learning, we have been focusing on our fine motor skills, completing lots of fun activities, to prepare our fingers for writing. We have also enjoyed reading new stories and identifying rhyming words that we hear.

Thank you to all parents and carers for supporting us with smooth transitions in the mornings. It is greatly appreciated. On Wednesday 28th August we will be getting a class photograph for the newspaper. On Thursday 29th August we will be hosting a ‘Meet the Teacher’ event where you will find out more about our school and to provide you with an overview of some of the learning that will take place in our class. I look forward to seeing some of you then.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Miss Mulreany 🙂
