We have been testing out new ways to help us stay focused on tasks that take up a lot of our brain power! We have been making our own little timelines, scheduling in our own breaks throughout tasks. These could be a little movement breaks or a drink of water. We have been finding this so useful and helpful, with lots of us feeling like we are able to do our more tricky tasks with more ease now.
We went to the Uddingston Hockey Club Festival. To help us really get into our team spirit we designed our own T-shirts to wear at the festival. We had a brilliant day where we really got to show off our hockey skills. The pupils all performed brilliantly and showed amazing resilience and respect throughout!
We have been revising our knowledge of division this week and used the loose parts we have in our classroom to help us see clearly what division is. We then linked it to our knowledge of our times tables. This means we will be able to apply our skills in trickier ways!
We have been consolidating our spelling too. What better way to do this than through some games!!
For our last day of term today we had a movie day! We all got comfy and cozy and watched Harry Potter as this was one of the books we read during class time!
I hope you all enjoy your spring holidays! 💛☺️
