It has been a learning filled week in room 5 this week. We have been consolidating all our learning in both numeracy and literacy. We have been practicing all of our common words, and really focusing on our strategies to help us identify words we don’t know yet. We have focused on consolidating our ‘u_e and a_e’ sound and having lots of practical play with the money to help us build totals with the coins.

We created our own island, bringing together all of our knowledge so far which was really fun. We voted to call it the Isle of Five (Thank you Calvin for the great idea)!

The past 2 days, we have had some gorgeous sunshine and have spent time learning outdoors to really enjoy it. We done some relay races during p.e outside and took our reading books outside with our P5 buddies.

We also had some wonderful achievements this week. Well done!
