What an amazing day we had at the Museum of Rural Life on Thursday!

We started our day with a Farm to Fork workshop where we matched foods from their sources, this was a tricky task! We then looked at different plates of food and tried to identify all the ingredients in the meal. Finally we took part in a quiz!

Then it was time to face the rain and head up to the farm. Everybody did an amazing job walking through the mud and puddles, not a moan from anyone, they were absolute superstars.

When we reached the farm we saw calves, horses, chickens, sheep and piglets. So cute!

We headed back to the museum and had our lunch. Then we spent time exploring the tractor store and the Garden Detectives room.

Finally, it was back on the bus to sing Golden and Wheels on the Bus!

We all had a brilliant day and I am sure we were all in our beds early🤣😴
