Welcome to room 7’s  blog. We have been really busy the last couple of weeks exploring Scottish mythical creatures. Last week we used AI to design our own images of the Loch Ness Monster, using different adjectives. Here are some of the monsters we created!

We also designed and made our own Loch Ness monsters using clay and wrote Haiku poems about them. This week we have been learning all about the Kelpies at the Falkirk wheel because it is the Chinese year of the horse.

Here are some more of the things we have enjoyed over the last couple of weeks:

MG – I liked making pictures during play. I liked seeing what animal we were.

CH – I liked doing the word web.

LW – I liked learning about North, East, South, West and I liked seeing which Chinese New Year animals we were.

CW – I liked learning about the Loch Ness Monster.

BS – I liked doing the Kelpies.

CG – I liked doing the North, South, East and West and I liked doing the Kelpies. I liked doing the loch ness monster.

TT – I liked making the building with my friends.

JB – I liked building with my friends.

KM – I liked building a big building with my friends.

SF – I liked doing the shadow puppets.

CM – I liked making a shadow puppet.

EC – I liked doing mathletics with my friends.

MM – I liked doing the speech marks.

BE – I liked playing with my friends in the playground.

KM – I liked doing the colour mixing and playing with my friends.

RL –  I liked making Loch Ness Monsters.

SS – I liked drawing the Kelpies.

EB – I liked playing with my friends at snack and lunch.

LJ – I liked playing with the animal puppets.

IS – I liked playing with my friends at snack.

CS – I liked doing the tasks on the chrome books.

In preparation for our school trip we are going to be exploring Scottish castles over the next couple of weeks. You might want to talk with your family about any castles you know about already.
