Hello, and a belated Happy New Year from room 8!

Since starting back, we have been super busy learning about lots of new things.

In maths we have been learning about subtraction with borrowing, when we have to ‘borrow’ from the tens column.

We have started our new IDL topic where the children have been deciding what they want to learn about based on our question ‘What makes Scotland wonderful?’. This has tied in nicely to Robert Burns day as we have gotten the chance to explore the history of his life. We also decided that we would like to learn more about Scottish football and so we are super excited for our trip to Hampden!!

In PE we have started hockey with Uddingston Hockey Club and fitness with Miss Nimmo which have both been super fun so far.
