We have had a busy and fun week in Room 4, with lots of great learning taking place!
In Numeracy this week, we have been continuing with subtraction. The children used lots of concrete materials to help them understand their learning and began using a new strategy called crossing out. Everyone worked very hard and showed great focus.
In Literacy, we have been learning how to write sentences using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. The children are becoming more confident and are very proud of their writing.
We have also started our new Inquiry topic, What Makes Scotland Wonderful. The class has loved beginning to explore this topic and we can’t wait to share more of our learning with you all.
Please remember our PE days will be changing to Wednesday and Thursday this term. Children should come to school dressed appropriately for PE on these days.
