Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! We cannot believe that we are into Term 3 already. We have had a busy first week back at school and have enjoyed catching up with all our friends.

Today we had a very special treat! We watched a pantomime in our school. It was ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and was fantastic.

AH – I liked Glinda’s hair because it was curly like cotton candy.

NN – I liked Glinda’s dress.

DP – It was sort of funny.

AY – The show was funny.

MM – The evil witch put thistles in the boxes. Characters from the story touched the thistles.

LM – I liked the bubbles. The bubbles were from Glinda’s bubble magic wand.

OMcM – The characters from the show were flying on flying monkeys.

MK – I liked Glinda’s shoes.

It was a special treat and one of the boys in Room 2 even said, “This is the best day ever at school!”. 🙂
