To award our S1 pupils who submitted creative responses to books from our SHELF CARE: MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING BOOK LIST, they received a special invite to our very own BOOK BAR! Healthy drinks based on some of our favourite titles. Click here for more details and photographs!

Drop Everything and Read 2

We are so excited to be hosting another Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R) on Wednesday!! Pupils and staff- don’t forget to bring your books in and listen carefully for the tannoy to signal when to start reading!!

World Storytelling Day

We believe in the magic of storytelling! In honour of World Storytelling Day (March 20th), pupils completed various story-related activities across the department. Many were linked to our First Minister’s Reading Challenge focus: Mental Health and Well-Being!

 

       

 

 

 

World Book Day Party

Our top S1 readers of the First Minister’s Reading Challenge were rewarded with a special book party! We enjoyed lots of book-related treats and a WBD quiz. Well done to these pupils!!

Our First Minister’s Reading Challenge is still on-going through spring! Keep up the enthusiasm and happy reading!!

World Book Day!

World Book Day is Thursday, March 7th!

S1 pupils who have read the most books in our Reading Challenge will receive prizes and a special lunchtime party (Thursday in Miss Rothery’s room!)
