Speak to your English teacher for a study pack or revision work for the upcoming exams! Here are examples from Miss Rothery and Miss Lawrie’s classes. Don’t forget to also check under the Senior Phase tab on our blog for more revision!!
We are so pleased that Drop Everything and Read was another success!! It was incredible to see staff and pupils across the school stop and enjoy reading after such a busy term! A special thank you to Mr Santi who delivered a hilarious radio-host tannoy! Bravo!!

We believe in the magic of storytelling! In honour of World Storytelling Day (March 20th), pupils completed various story-related activities across the department. Many were linked to our First Minister’s Reading Challenge focus: Mental Health and Well-Being!
Our top S1 readers of the First Minister’s Reading Challenge were rewarded with a special book party! We enjoyed lots of book-related treats and a WBD quiz. Well done to these pupils!!
World Book Day is Thursday, March 7th!
S1 pupils who have read the most books in our Reading Challenge will receive prizes and a special lunchtime party (Thursday in Miss Rothery’s room!)
Invitations will be given out tomorrow!
The workshop will begin at 6:00 pm and run for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
The workshop will be active and we invite you to come along with your child so that you can learn together.
