Easter
This week P2b are learning through play with an Easter theme. The boys and girls identified and grouped odd and even numbers in an egg hunt. Practiced their fine motor skills by building origami eaters bunnies and drew symmetrical pictures.
Compass Points
P2b had fun working with P5 pupils learning how to use a compass and follow directions using directional language. P2b were able to find North South East and West using their compass.
.
Mindfulness
P2b have been learning what it means to be mindful and still. For 8mins after lunch each day the boys and girls take time to quiet their brains and prepare for learning in the afternoon. This has allowed the boys and girls to enjoy a moment of quiet after the noise of the playground.
