This week the boys and girls in P2a have been working hard. We started off our week learning our new sound ‘ai’. We practised making words that had our sound in them with our partner. This term some of our P7 pupils will begin their training to become Playground Buddies for our younger pupils. This initiative builds strong relationships between our P1 and P7 pupils. The younger children feel more secure, cared for and confident while our P7 student’s contribution helps them to feel valued and respected in our school community. This is also a fantastic opportunity for our P7 pupils to develop their levels
After applying for the position of House and Vice Captain along with attending a brilliant interview, the following candidates have been selected as our new Captains for the session 2017-18. The girls and boys of P1b have been in until 3pm for the first time this week! We have been learning lots of new things. We have been learning about numbers and letters through new songs and rhymes. We have looked at the sound ‘Aa’ and ‘Tt’ and have enjoyed matching the sounds to pictures. We also practiced the Alphabet Song. We are getting very familiar with the ‘Big Number

P7b been working very hard so far. We have been doing maths, English, Spanish, French and much more. In maths we have done whole numbers, some people were finding it easier and some people, very hard. The class have been enjoying circle time since returning to school. Primary four are enjoying listening to one and other talking about our feelings talking about our likes and dislikes
Our class topic this term is … Them Bones, Them Bones. We will be learning all about the importance of our skeleton and how it helps to support and protect our body. Can you name any of the bones which make up our skeleton?
