Primary 1b have a great week!

Primary 1b were practicing our phonics this week! We looked at the sounds ‘i’ and ‘s’. “it was great fun” said Lexie. Welcome back after the Easter Break and straight into the hard work again. We practiced our spelling words… Erin and Freya with beautiful work! Straight back at it!

P1b were straight back to the hard work after the February holiday. We started off with some ‘Have-a-go’ writing. We then continued our Active Spelling by revising some of the words we have learned. Balornock Eco Heroes!

The Balornock Eco Committee had a fantastic meeting last week to continue our discussions on how we minimise food waste, ably facilitated by Tom Armstrong. The group discussed ways of monitoring the school’s food waste.
