# Our Reading Challenge and Athletic Superstars!

This term for P.E we are doing athletic sports. We made a circuit using hurdles, a quick jump, balance beam, and a trampoline. We had to jump over the benches and move around the room in different ways. It was great fun, especially using the trampoline. Andrew liked using the balance beam the best because it helped him with his balance. Take a look at how high we can jump!

Well we did manage to have 2 fun days in literacy week. They were full of parent, staff and pupil involvement and reading was the name of the game. As we hide away from the weather today remember that it is World Book Day so use your day off school to celebrate your love of books. Read as much as you can, maybe build a snow library or something exciting.

# Home Learning in P1a

The boys and girls in Primary 1a have been learning all about city and island life as part of their Social Studies topic this term. # Straight back at it!

P1b were straight back to the hard work after the February holiday. We started off with some ‘Have-a-go’ writing. We then continued our Active Spelling by revising some of the words we have learned. Last week during assembly we were given a fabulous box of new maths resources.
