Balornock Eco Heroes!
The Balornock Eco Committee had a fantastic meeting last week to continue our discussions on how we minimise food waste, ably facilitated by Tom Armstrong.
The group discussed ways of monitoring the school’s food waste. Among the suggestions were pre-ordering the food the day before so as the pupils know what is coming up; and measuring the amount of actual food waste to see if we can reduce that amount moving forward.
We loved the suggestions and hope to implement some of them in the very near future.
