G1-2 did a water focused topic at the beginning of Term 3. The children suggested giving money to children in deprived countries who don’t have clean water to drink. As a class we decided to do a sponsored walk and silence to raise money for UNICEF. The children walked 2.2 miles this morning and then participated in a silence for 1 hour 20 mins!! Didn’t they do well! Some parents joined us for the walk and Finlay’s dad drove the support car for us. We are overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity…..we have raised almost £600!!!
