If any student wishes to apply for work experience with the Scottish Police Service in October 2013 (S4 students as of next session) they should contact Mr Cairney or Mr Davis. Places will be extremely limited therefore any student with a genuine interest in joining the Scottish Police Service should pick up an application form ASAP
Netball S1-S6
Any pupils interested in playing Netball please come along to the old gym on a Thursday at lunch time, fully changed ready to play games. Please remember and bring a packed lunch with you. Any questions come and speak to Mrs McNab in the PE department.
New Parking Regulation

Former pupil set to release album
Former pupil Moray West is set to release a new vocal album ‘Scotland Boy’ was recorded by Moray and The Orchestra of Scottish Opera a few years ago and is a charity album to raise funds for the Ciaran Pryce Appeal
The album is an eclectic collections of songs and showcases Moray’s outstanding musical talent alongside some of the finest musicians in our country.
Mearns Castle High School is extremely proud of Moray and can’t wait for the albums’s release at the start of April

World Book Day
First year took part in the World Book Day today at MCHS
All the pupils (and staff) dressed up as a character from a book and took part in a Literacy Quiz in the theatre.
A great BIG well done to the English department and our Librarian Ms McEachern who organised the day.
