The Scottish Government campaign “Eat Better Feel Better” has just launched its new website to encourage people to start cooking and eating well to improve their health. The website contains a variety of recipes to try and the nutrition content of recipes is given to make it easier to make informed choices. For those of you who enjoy interactive videos there is a selection of “cookalong” recipes on the website. Cookalong recipes can be a great way to involve children when cooking the family meal. The web address is http://www.eatbetterfeelbetter.co.uk/

MMR immunisation is being offered to pupils from S3 to S6 who have not already had one or two doses. The first dose will be given to identified pupils on the same day as the next HPV vaccinations for S2 girls.
This will take place on Monday 11th March.
These vaccinations will be taking place for ALL S3 pupils on Monday 28th January.
Pupils have already received an information letter for parents and a consent form which should be completed and returned to the Blue Boxes as soon as possible in the brown envelopes provided. These should be marked for the attention of the school nurse.
Heather Murphy, our school nurse, will also share further information with pupils on Friday 18th January during English classes period 3. Pupils should go to class as normal and you will then be escorted to the Main Theatre to hear Heather’s presentation.
Further information about arrangements for 28th January will be shared with pupils at the assembly on Friday.
