Our friends at the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Dundee are running their annual STEM poster competition aimed at primary and secondary school students.
If your pupils are looking for a STEM challenge, then maybe they’d like to get creative and submit an entry (there are Amazon vouchers as prizes in each category!). The topic this year is “The Future of STEM”

The 2020 Scottish Space School @ Strathclyde residential summer school will be held at the University of Strathclyde from 15-19 June 2020 and applications are now being invited via the online application system.
Now in its 17th year at the University, the Scottish Space School continues to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists and is aimed at S5 pupils in Scotland currently studying Maths and Science subjects at Higher level.

Applications are still open for our annual Women in Science Residential, taking place during the Easter holiday, 2018.
If you have female students in S4/year 11, who are thinking about continuing with sciences at A level and beyond, then this residential is for them!
Dates: Wednesday 4th – Friday 6th April 2018
Eligibility: There are a number of eligibility criteria that are considered when selecting successful applicants. Essential criteria include identifying as female, currently attending a state school, and having a minimum of five 6-9 grades predicted at GCSE. Students must also be studying at least two sciences. S1 visited the Science Centre this week. Thank you to all of the staff who helped to organise and supervise the trip. The pupils had a fantastic time as you can see from the pictures!
Applications are open for S5 and S6 pupils to apply for a FREE place at the RZSS Summer School 2015.
This is a 1 week placement during the summer holidays at either Edinburgh Zoo or Highland Wildlife Park.
The placement involves studying animal behaviour, animal enclosure design and learning about the work of the vets.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who are considering applying to Vet Medicine or any other animal-related course.

Welcome to the first edition of the all new Science & Technology Magazine. The magazine has been created from a dedicated team of pupils from each year group. This edition has a range of articles and a competition for a new magazine logo.

Our S1 pupils visited the Glasgow Science Centre as part of the S1 Science course. Pupils had to examine the experiments and exhibits available on all three floors and write a report on the nature of the experiments and decide which ones they liked and why.
