Green Fingered Parents

Many thanks to our “Green Fingered Parents” who helped out with the maintenance of the Sensory Garden on Friday.

It’s looking fabulous and has been admired by all the pupils, staff and visitors.

Great job everyone!

Variety Club Outing

3 of our primary classes have set out on a journey to Blairdrummond Safari Park.

This is part of the annual Variety Club outing which we are invited to and usually everyone has a great time.

Hopefully the rain will stay away and we don’t see any lions on the loose!

Coffee and Chat

Come along on Thurdsay 6th September at 10am for our monthly coffee and chat.

A chance to meet up with other parents and an opportunity to discuss and provide support in dealing with specific issues.

All welcome

Mid Summer Mela @ IMS

Thank you to all the parents and friends who came along to support our showcase of the Mid Summer Mela.

The staff and pupils have been working very hard for the last few weeks preparing  for this big event and lots of new skills have been gained.

I’m sure you will all agree it was a wonderful experience to see all the pupils performing, from Macbeth to Bollywood Reels on Wheels and an African journey.

A special thanks to the girls from the Woodfarm Bollywood Dance Crew who supported our young people and helped to choreograph one of the dances.

Olympic Torch comes to IMS

Yesterday we were very fortunate to have a visit from Martin Myers who was one of the Olympic torch bearers. He came along to talk to us about his experience and show off the real Olympic Torch.

Everyone was excited to meet Martin and hear his story, of how he was selected to run with the torch. Afterwards we all got the chance to hold the torch and have our photograph taken.

Click here to read more of Martin’s story.
