How can you protect your child’s teeth

 

 We all need to think about food and drinks and how reducing the impact of sugar on their teeth can prevent tooth decay.
Good oral health in childhood means healthy teeth and gums throughout life.

 

 

 

 

At Isobel Mair School we:

  • Particapte in the childsmile programme.
  • Oral Educator monitors the Childsmile programme within the school.
  • Ensure all staff have oral health training -national standards.
  • ALL primary children have own toothbrush as part of the initiiative
  • We provide parent questionnaire and drop in sessions for parents. (This normally takes place during parents evening and coffee and chat.)
  • Toothbrushing resources can be suppplied on request.
  • Circulation of  toothbrushing consent forms to all parents/carers.
