Congratulations to our senior pupils

Congtraulations to our senior pupils who have been training hard for the up and coming WOSSA Cross Country events.

This is a series of 3 runs which take place from December to March.

They have been training in our new school grounds to help them get fit for the national event which takes place in a few weeks.

They are hoping to return to school with a few medals after the national event.

Good luck everyone.

COMMUNITEA @ IMS

Congratualtions to Whalsay class for a very successful Communitea morning. They are planning to host this once a month so watch out for the next date.

During Enterprise activities the class helped to design posters and invitations for the event and invited lots of people from the local community.

Mrs Haugh-Reid supported the class and helped them to decide what kind of homebaking they wanted to include and bake. Some favourites included  carrot cake, malteser crunch and huge meringues!

It’s been a very busy few weeks for the class but I’m sure you will agree that it was a very successful event.
