SupERkids iPad Training

SupERkids are pleased to invite the parents of our SupERkids to an event where you will learn how to use your iPad / tablet.

The Family Fund is running a project to support families to get the best from their iPads. They are running some free sessions
for families with an approved Apple Education Trainer. Training sessions will be tailored to cover topics most suited to parents’ and carers’ needs.

The session will take place on Thursday 24th November from 6:30-8:30pm.

One Giant Leap – Supporting Development in Young People

Transitions Project

one giant leapOne Giant Leap are a transitions project working with Sense Scotland and are looking for new referrals from young people with learning disabilities who are in the process
of leaving school – 2016/17 leavers.

NDCS Listening Bus

P9171253The listening bus is at Isobel Mair School.

The sensory support service have arranged for the Listening Bus to be at the school and accessed by all schools across the authority.

This will help raise awareness and bring  information  to deaf children & young people across East Renfrewshire.

 

 

Parent Engagement Seminar

What does a good like look like after school?

This parent engagement session allows you to think about your children leaving school and what the next steps are in the process.

The session for parents of 4th, 5th and 6th year pupils will take place on Tuesday 22nd September 2015, 6:00 – 8:30pm at Isobel Mair School.

Sleep Scotland Workshops

Sleep workshops for parents and carers of children and young adults with Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome

 

In February and March 2015, Sleep Scotland will be holding a series of 10 Parent Workshops, specifically for parents and carers of children or young adultssleeplogo with autism or Asperger’s Syndrome and sleep problems. The workshops are part of a short pilot-project, supported by the Scottish Government Autism Fund, and running until the end of March 2015.

Event for Parents of Children with ASN

Date for your diary Saturday 26th May 2012

Please come along to an event for Parents of Children with Additional Support Needs on Saturday 26th May 2012 at the Isobel Mair School.

Parents will be able to choose from two workshops and there will be representation from a number of agencies involved in the support of parents and children.
