FAOL Enterprise – Christmas Baubles

We had a lovely festive time making Christmas baubles for our family members.
We followed spoken/signed or written instructions and filled one of our baubles with chocolates and one with a photo of each of us wearing a Santa hat.

We also discussed who we might give our fabulous Christmas gifts to.

We were very proud of the lovely gifts we made! I hope our families like them!

The Daisies class enjoyed designing their own Christmas jumpers. We used crayons to colour the jumpers in and then chose a Christmas tag to stick in the middle. Finally, we stuck gems and sequins on top to make it sparkle.

Melted Snowman Biscuits

* RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *

The boys in the Daisies class loved today’s baking activity where they got to make melted snowmen biscuits. They enjoyed mark making the marshmallow using the edible icing pens to make a snowman face. They spread icing sugar over digestive biscuits and placed the snowman’s head on top and then added buttons using smarties.

Most of the boys tasted some of the ingredients and enjoyed having their biscuits at snack the next day.

Christmas Jumper Day!

Successful Learners and Confident Individuals

Today, the Sunflowers were looking festive in their Christmas Jumpers.  We all enjoyed making jumpers of our own using pictures our our choice.  The Sunflower’s have also loved learning to ice cupcakes  this week, using our strawberry elf frosting.  Each child was able to ice their cake and some pupils enjoyed tasking and smelling the icing.  Everyone had a turn at choosing edible Christmas sprinkles to decorate the top of their cake. Afterwards, we ate them and they tasted yummy.
