Hello Oak friends, it is the start of a new year. It is already a new year with a difference. We are sad that we are not able to return to the classroom to learn together. For now, we will be learning remotely and we will check in every week. We look forward to seeing you all on Vscene and taking part in some activities.
There will be a selection of activities that cover literacy, numeracy, and Health and well-being. Please click on the week commencing date 11th Jan and it will take you to the activities. Try them out and repeat them throughout the week. We learn and consolidate our learning by repeating activities.
There is no pressure to complete all the tasks go at your own pace and do what you can. If you do complete any activities we would love to see some photos. We will share your photos on our class blog and all your friends can see what you have been up to. Please email your photos to nicola.murray@eastayrshire.org.uk
Routine and structure are important for us all to manage through this uncertain time. Plan your day of activities before going to bed, set an alarm, get up have breakfast and start your day. Do not forget to add in daily exercise and fresh air, a short walk will help everyone feel better.
Stay home, stay safe and smile.
Merry Christmas from everyone in the Oak class. We have had a busy last week with lots of special visitors from Holly McJingle and Santa Claus.
Christmas has been different this year but everyone in the Oak class have been confident individuals and coped well with all the changes and we have still have had fun along the way!
We have made our unique hand-print calendar for 2021, and also a countdown paper chain until Santa comes.
We had fun taking part in Christmas fitness workouts, we had some great movers within the group.
We hope everyone has a lovely Christmas, stay safe and we will be back for more hard work and fun in January 2021!
We had a great Friday on Christmas jumper day, we enjoyed our Christmas lunch and have a huge thank you to Singing Hands for allowing us to view their virtual Christmas Show.
