Christmas Party

Yesterday we had a special visit from Santa. He came to the playground and gave each us a sack full of presents for all the friends in the Bluebells class.

We were all dressed smartly for our class Christmas party.  We danced and played games and had lots fun. We were confident individuals and danced with our peers and were able to freeze and become statues with the music stopped.  We were able to pass the parcel to our peers and pull off one layer when the music stopped until last layer when the winner opened a book.

Dinosaur stomping

This week we have been learning all about the letter “d”. We love playing pretend with the dinosaurs in class so we found them and decided to make some dinosaur prints. We dipped the dinosaur in the paint getting their feet covered in paint and then made footprints on a piece of paper. All children were able to hold the dinosaur and were confident individuals making their own footprints on their paper.

St Andrew’s Day

Monday was St Andrew’s Day. The boys listened to a story and looked at pictures on the board. We then made a Scotland flag using tissue paper and cotton wool. We also used cars to create a lovely tartan picture. They were confident individuals dipping the wheels in the paint and rolling them across the paper to create their very own tartan design. We also used crayons to follow the lines on on our pencil control worksheets. We listened to some Scottish music which we were not keen on.
