Dinosaur Eggs

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

The Daisies class enjoyed exploring a range of dinosaur eggs. We put some bath bomb dinosaur eggs in water and enjoyed watching them fizz!

We also submerged a dinosaur egg in water and observed it over 48 hours. We were so excited to see the dinosaur egg begin to hatch! We now have a pet dinosaur that we are going to look after.

IDL evidence – Using cardboard tubes to make a telescope.

Every good pirate needs a good telescope to look out for enemy flags and treasure!
The Asteroids confidently collected and counted out old toilet roll tubes to make their own telescopes.

We painted them black which was tricky to do and then left them to dry. Once they were ready, we had to fit the tubes inside each other, so we had to cut one or two and make them narrower tubes. When we had them all fitted and arranged, we sellotaped them together and decorated them.
They look fantastic, don’t you agree?

Successful Learners     Confident Individuals     Effective Contributors

The Snowdrops have been learning about toys through pictures and words.  We have enjoyed fun matching games and had lots of success recognising pictures and words. Everyone showed lots of interest in the different pictures, saying or signing their names and giving good eye-contact towards all the pictures. Great work Snowdrops!
