Home learning tasks- week 3

Good morning Comets,

I hope you have all had a great week. All being well,  our VScene calls should resume this week and I am looking forward to seeing you.

To celebrate Robert Burns Day, I have included some fun activities that can be completed from home.  Our learning tasks for the week can be found HERE.

As advised we are going to start using Giglets.  The children in school  have had a letter put in their school bags with a username and password. For the children working from home an email has been sent to you with those details. I have also attached information about Giglets and how to access it. It’s a fantastic resource and I’m sure you love it as much as I do!

As always do what you can, when you can.

If you haven’t received those details or have any questions please let me know by emailing me on kirsty.robertson@eastayrshire.org.uk.

Have an amazing week Comets. I will leave you with a song that is a firm favourite in the classroom-  hopefully it makes you smile!

Home learning tasks- week 1

Hello Comets family and happy new year!

We are all missing you in school and hope it won’t be long until we see you again. We are sad that the start of the year is looking a little different to what we had planned.

We will be checking in each week with fun activities that can be completed from home. You can do these tasks in your own time and pace, there is no pressure to complete them all. In addition to this home learning packs can be requested. We would love to see some of the things you are getting up to at home and if you would like to share these you can email me on kirsty.robertson@eastayrshire.org.uk.

Suggested activities for the week beginning 11th of January can be found HERE.

In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from you all and I hope the first day of home learning is going well.

It’s Christmas!

Everyone in Comet class is so excited for the Christmas holidays. We have spent the week doing lots of fun Christmas activities.  We were all successful learners when we  made snow globes and Christmas cards to give as gifts.

On Wednesday we had our Christmas Party. We played games like pass the parcel and musical statues. Everyone was an effective contributor and a confident individual.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
