Home Learning 25th January

Well, it is Burns night, so our literacy work this week is based on our famous poet Robert Burns.

I have attached the writing frame I would like you to complete this week.

Click on the link to find all the work set for this week,  again as always complete what you can and do not feel under pressure to complete it all.  Do what you can. 25th Jan

I am hoping we are able to get to see all your lovely faces this week on Vscene.  This week we will try to do our music lesson from last week, listen to Mrs Murray reading you the story about, ‘The Hairy Haggis’.  Mrs Murray will set you an art Haggis challenge.  Then do not forget trying out our moves to our new movement routine.

We are missing everyone in the Oak class very much, I am pleased to hear you are all doing well at home and working hard. Keep it up, I am proud of you all.

Comets 08/06/20

Hi everyone!

I hope you call had a lovely weekend! I have lots of new activities for you to try this week!

The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo is a favourite story of lots of the Comet class. Before we stopped some of us had been practicing signing along to the story, and we were getting really good at it! Use the video below to help sign along to the story, learn some new signs, or just enjoy listening to the story.

Chalk Work

If you have some chalk at home there are lots of fun activities you can try. My favourite is to draw a clock face and use sticks to make different times. Can you make all the different O’clocks? What about half past?

I'm a teacher, get me OUTSIDE here!: An outdoor clock | Outdoor ...

When you are finished you can use the chalk to make draw pictures and make colourful patterns.

Cupcakes

I know how hard you have all been working, which is why I think you deserve a treat. I know how much we all enjoyed baking as a class, so why not try it at home. This simple cupcakes are easy to make but super delicious to eat. Give them a go and enjoy your sweet treat at the end 🙂

Focused Areas of Learning – Whole School Projects – Christmas Show – Away in a Manger

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

The Bluebells class have been working really hard this term on our Christmas nativity. We have all taken on a role of either mice or spiders, have learned the words and signs for many songs and have been practising dances related to the story.

We have now moved our rehearsals to the Gym Hall and we are all coping really well with this and are looking forward to you seeing the final result.

The Daisies Class were confident individuals during theme work, when they explored and tasted a range of different fruits.  They then made a pictograph showing everyone’s favourites.
