This week we continue to be amazed by the wonderful work going on both in school and at home from our young people!
Don’t forget to check our class blogs too for photos of the learning taking place each week.

Please visit our Parent Zone of the school blog where we have added new resources designed to support our parents/carers. (Click on the link below or click on the Parent Zone tab in the menu above) Please note the new addition of resources from the Scottish Attainment Challenge Team which shares Family Learning Activities designed to provide information and links to help parents, families and children enjoy maths activities together.
In addition to this they have also created a series of videos which share some of the approaches to teaching and learning in numeracy, calculation strategies and terminology currently being developed across schools in East Ayrshire.

We have had a few queries recently as to how and where to access your child’s class homework.
As we are minimising the items being passed between school and home, each class will be setting homework tasks weekly through their class blogs.
These can be found in the CLASSES AND STAFF tab on our school blog.
Once you select your child’s class, you must click on the link within that page which will take you directly to your child’s class blog. Once there you must select the HOMEWORK tab. All homework tasks will be posted here for you to refer to. Your child may be asked to submit tasks via email/Teams but will be instructed to do so by their class teacher if this is a requirement.
A quick ‘how to’ guide to access homework can be found in the video below.
If you have any further questions or queries, please notify a member of the Senior Leadership team. Their contact details can be found below.

As you know we are developing our Relationships Policy this session. This involves exploring our current practice with regards to developing positive relationships within the school community, managing behaviour and promoting our school vision and values.
A big thank you to those parents who managed to attend our focus group last week. As you know we are keen to involve the whole school community in school improvement opportunities and appreciate your time and commitment.
