Today our class poetry winners visited Afton Court Sheltered Housing to entertain the serviced users with their award winning performances. A true example of community partnership and intergenerational work at its finest!
NCDT are hosting an afterschool sport session this Wednesday 25th March 3:15pm-4:30pm in the Scout Hall. This multi-sport class is aimed to all abilities from Primary 4-7. Please contact NCDT to book your child’s place as spaces are limited.
To celebrate the end of term almost here, this Friday 20th March, we will be hosting a whole school FAB Friday Get Together, where we will be recognising the Wider Achievements of our pupils .
We want to hear about your child’s successes! Please bring in your certificates, medals or stories about your achievements from this past term.
To help with the programming of the morning, please complete the form below by next Thursday 19th March to let us know what your child wishes to celebrate. We will use the names gathered on the Form to create the running order.
Today our P5/6, P6 and P7 classes were fortunate enough to take part in a music workshop with Callum and Lucy from the Benedetti Foundation.
We took part in learning about different beats and rhythms and listening carefully to patterns of sounds which were made. We had to identify the different instruments which were used and some of us even had turns at leading the rest of the classes. Everyone loved it and participated extremely well!
