At New Cumnock Primary we address poverty in a non-stigmatising way using a variety of methods.

Our Period Ambassadors ensure our female toilets are stocked with free sanitary products.

As a school we are committed to reducing the cost of the school day. A lot of work has also been done by staff, pupils and our Parent Council to source funding to provide our young people with experiences at no additional cost to our families, and to promote sustainability and encourage recycling across the school, including pre-loved clothing.
