New Cumnock Parish Church Burns Supper 31/1/26
Our very own Stewart Y, and his big sister Emma, who is also a former pupil of ours, performed at the New Cumnock Parish Church Burns Supper tonight.
Stewart gave a recitation of Willie Wastle and was given the important duty of addressing the haggis.
Both superstars wowed the room with their wonderful recitations! Well done Stewart and Emma!

Breakfast Club starts back 26/1/26
We are delighted that due to a successful funding bid by our Parent Council to the New Cumnock Development Trust, we have been granted the funds required to be able to run our Breakfast Club for the remainder of the school year, for free to our families!!!
We are extremely grateful to the NCDT for providing the funds to enable us to run this club, which not only supports the Health and Wellbeing needs of our young people, but supports our families too.
Please note:
- Breakfast Club will start on Monday 26th January 2026.
- Breakfast Club will run Monday-Friday 8:00am until 8.45am (Last entry to Breakfast Club will be 8:30am)
- Entry will be via the back door to rear of the car park. Parents/carers must please refrain from parking in our staff car park as the morning time is busy with staff cars and school transport.
- Thank you to everyone who has already completed the Form to confirm you wish your child to attend Breakfast Club. Email confirmation of this will be sent to the email address we have on record for each main contact. This Form has now been closed. P1 and P2 trip to Scotmid
Today our P1 and P2 classes visited Scotmid to decorate the store’s tree with decorations they had made themselves at school.
Our young people even entertained the shoppers and staff by singing some of their Nativity songs during their visit.
A huge thank you to Kal’s Mum, Suzanne, for arranging for us to visit!

Working Mens Club – Home Energy Scotland
On Monday 10th November, between 10-11am, Home Energy Scotland will be at the Working Mens Club to provide a top up for those on a prepay meter for their gas and electric.
We know this will be a huge support to many of our families. It will be given on a first come, first served basis.
Thank you Heather and Sheryl for letting us know about this.
