Vision and Values Review
New Cumnock Primary School’s current vision states the following:
‘In New Cumnock Primary School, we work together to ensure a welcoming, nurturing and innovative environment which allows everyone to excel on the journey to excellence.’
We aim to promote this vision by developing the following values with our children (DREAM):

S1 Transition ‘Tea @ 3’
Calling all new S1’s that transitioned from New Cumnock Primary School!
As promised, we will be hosting a ‘Tea @ 3’ session to check-in with our most recent cohort of S1’s and to hear about how you have settled into life as S1s at RBA!
Our sessions will be held on Friday 4th September and Friday 11th September 3-3.30pm. S1 pupils are reminded that they must enter via the Community Entrance.
This is an opportunity for new S1 pupils to check in with primary staff they trust, whilst they are still building relationships with staff at the Robert Burns Academy, and have a chat about their new school, subjects, friends, or any worries they have.
This is not compulsory for pupils, but we would love to see you!
Afterschool Clubs Term 1
Please see information in the Form below about Afterschool Clubs running this term. (Please note that Choir and Football will run all session).
Spaces are limited so register your child quickly. You will be contacted via email to confirm your child has been allocated a space.
Please note that Choir and Football will run all session. We will also be producing a School Show this year for P4-7. More information to follow about this soon. Rehearsals for this will be a Monday 3-4.30pm.
Any club cancellations will be notified via the school app.

P1 Learning Journals
Our P1 children’s Learning Journals were transferred over from the ECC. Parents assigned to these journals do not automatically transfer too therefore we need to reassign.
P1 children with older siblings will have been assigned as we have linked the parents from there.
If you still haven’t been assigned to your child please complete the contact form below and Mrs Johnstone will get you added asap.
KiDZONE
Mr Gray joined us at Get Together this morning to tell us that KiDZONE is running their Under The Sea club each night this week at Bridgend Gospel Hall from 6-7pm. This is available to P1-P7 pupils.
