Yesterday saw the Drongan kids taking part in Mrs Coulter’s Garden Obstacle Course – lots of great ideas – and Mrs Mitchell’s ‘Find the Missing Partner’ (socks). Lots of great photos and videos came in for the blog. Today the kids have been challenged to try Mrs Bradley’s Ball Bounce and Mrs Glasgow’s Welly Toss.
Under Water
Grace made an underwater theme with the craft box that the school dropped off last week (donated by Coalfield Community via Helping Hands) Grace has dressed up to fit with the theme too.
Joined Phonemes
Freya and Kayden, in P1 at Drongan Primary, have been working hard to practise their words containing this week’s new joined phoneme – ee.

SSPCA – Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
We’re lucky in Scotland. It’s a beautiful country with an abundance of wildlife. From otters to owls, swans to seals and badgers to beavers, we’re blessed with a rich, diverse range of wild animals. Challenge – research one of the wild animals on this page and create an animal fact file or PowerPoint presentation.
Coin Numbers
Kayden, in P1b, gathered coins from around the house and sorted them by value. He then used the coins to make the number of their value. What a great idea. Well done Kayden.

Mindfulness
Today’s focus at Drongan Hub with Miss Adams was mindfulness. The children enjoyed doing some Cosmic Yoga and DIY tie-dying using pens, elastic bands and baby wipes! The results are fab.
The Generosity of Coalfield Community and the ladies of Drongan Helping Hands
Wow, what a busy day at Drongan Hub today! The kids, along with Mrs Brady and Mrs Hainey, were helping the ladies of Helping Hands to box up a selection of crafts for distribution to the primary children in Drongan. The crafts were donated by Coalfield Community.
