Good evening,

I just wanted to give you a little update on our first couple of days in Primary 6.

It has been a fantastic couple of days and the children have been absolutely amazing, settling back into school really well. I am really enjoying getting to know everyone and hope to have all names learned by the end of the day tomorrow!

This week has been about letting me get to know everyone better, letting the children get to know me better. They have also been getting used to our classroom routines. We will be getting stuck into the curriculum next week.

I will be posting Homework on this blog for children to access.

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. I will take the class for PE on a Monday and Miss Finnigan will take them on a Thursday. Please could children make sure that they have their PE kit for these days. If it is easier I am very happy to store these in class and send them home every week or so for a wee freshen up.

Once we have all the necessary permissions in place I will start putting photographs up for you to see what we are getting up to.
