A Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) has been set up to tackle underage drinking. The CAP brings together organisations including the council, the police, community organisations and local retailers to reduce the crime, anti-social behaviour and harm caused by underage drinking.
Drongan PS are looking forward to working with various partners to support this initiative and provide opportunities for our Young People in Drongan.
The Launch Event takes place this week, on Thursday 14th May. We are looking for the support of our community to complete the questionnaire (QR code on leaflet – for adults/residents of Drongan). Children will be given the chance to complete their own questionnaire soon. This information will help to support the CAP and lead to better opportunities for the community.
Universal free school meals has now been extended to include all primary 6 and primary 7 pupils, meaning that all primary pupils in East Ayrshire are now entitled to free school meals.

Last month we supported the Ayrshire Hospice as part of their Go Purple Day. In school the children took part in a ‘wear something purple’ theme, as well as lots of activities in classes. We also had a ‘purple cupcake’ tuckshop at break. All of the activities raised an incredible £550 for the Hospice. Thank you for your support!
