Leswalt’s Sweet ‘Cream Teas’ Fundraiser 🍰🫖

On Sunday afternoon, Leswalt Primary welcomed friends, families and sweet-treat lovers from far and near to our fantastic ‘Cream Teas’ fundraiser organised by our Parent Council.
Cakes were baked, stalls were set and tea and coffee brewing, we were all set and ready to go at 1 o’clock! Visitors gathered in the hall where they enjoyed some tea and coffee and were treated to a delicious selection to cakes and scones!🍰🫖A huge thank you to everybody who donated their yummy baking!

In the hallway, Mr and Mrs McGregor sold raffle tickets and our P1-3 class offered recipe books, a bottle stall and a selection of school uniform! Meanwhile, P4-7 had been busy grafting away at their stall in the ‘big class.’ 🍾🎟️

  • Rebecca, Rachael and Olivia’s ‘Lemonade Stand’  got some fantastic feedback as the girls hand-made and sold their own lemonade🍋.
  • Keira, Emma and Thea’s lollipop in the sand was a big hit and their ‘animal fidget’ prizes proved very tempting.🍭
  • Our wonderful beauticians; Hannah, Lily and Eilidh had queues of children and adults lining up to have their nails painted and be glitter tattooed!✨
  •  Colin and Ross went with the timeless favourite; guess the panda bear’s birthday and how may sweets are in the jar, which as always, was a massive hit.🐼
  • And our fabulous footballers has their work cut out for them outside with their ‘Beat the Goalie’ stall in the sunshine.⚽

It was so lovely to see all the boys and girls having fun and for their fabulous enterprise ideas to come to fruition. 🙂

All in all, it was a very successful afternoon! All made possible by the dedicated hard work of all parents who contributed in any way to the running of the day. Not to mention the pupils who worked hard to plan and run their stalls. We really appreciate how everybody in our school community comes together to make little Leswalt such a lovely place to be!🥰
