On Tuesday afternoon, the rain stopped and the clouds parted all ready for some rugby in the sunshine with Niamh from Wigtownshire Rugby Club! 🏉We started off with one of our favourites – Capture the Flag, where pupils practised some of the important attacking and defending skills involved in a game of rugby.🏳️ The boys and girls split into two teams on the grass and each team were tasked with capturing the other team’s flag, while defending their own.
Afterwards, we played a game of ‘switch’ where pupils had to switch places with a friend in the circle without someone intercepting and stealing their spot! 😊
We look forwards to welcoming Niamh back again next week for some more rugby fun!
