As part of their social studies topic, China, P4-7 today had a go at making a Chinese ‘fakeaway’. We had a look at some traditional Chinese dishes, chopsticks, and discussed some of the Chinese food we’ve tried at home. 🥢.
Today we had a go at making some vegetable spring rolls and seasoned chips with curry sauce, of course!😋 We chopped some potatoes, grated some vegetables and practised the art of rolling the perfect spring roll. Then popped our chips into the air fryer with some delicious Chinese 5 spice and our spring rolls into the oven to crisp. 20 minutes later, voila! we had some delicious Chinese favourites to try! And enjoy we did- the boys and girls all agreed that the recipe was quick, easy and one they’d love to try again at home. 🤩
