Meet Our Monsters!

For their monster topic Primary 1 to 3 have made books about their monsters.  Below are a few of the children’s monsters and their stories.  We hope you enjoy them.

This is Douglas’ monster, click on the link to hear his story –  Douglas – Monster Story.

This is Tegan’s monster click on the link to hear her story – Tegan – Monster Story.

Molly’s Chicks

On Wednesday 6th of June Mr and Mrs Allen very kindly brought in their baby chicks to show the P1 – P3 class as part of their living things topic.  The chicks were three weeks old.  They also brought their mother who was very protective of her babies.  The pupils really enjoyed holding the little chicks and meeting their mother.  Thank you Mr and Mrs Allen for your visit.

Plants!

Primary 1, 2 and 3 children have been investigating and learning about plants in and around the school as part of their living things topic.  They have been drawing pictures in the playground, examining the different parts of plants and seeds and made beautiful mosaic pictures using plants and leaves.

Here are some pictures of them investigating.
