YOU SAID, WE DID

In our school we recognised the need for a behaviour plan which will be part of our updated Relationships Policy. Yesterday the whole school met together in the hall. We split up into groups and read through a list of behaviours that have been experienced in our school. The children talked in their groups and ranked these behaviours as LOW, MODERATE and SIGNIFICANT. We then looked at a list of approaches to behaviours and decided which ones would be appropriate for the LOW, MODERATE and SIGNIFICANT behaviours. There was lots of excellent discussion and engagement from all the pupils. We will now put a survey out to parents to gather your opinions to ensure our Relationships Policy includes everyone’s views. 🌍Article 2 – No discrimination 🌍Article 12 – Respect for children’s views. 🌍Article 19 – Protection from violence 🌍Article 31 – Rest, play, culture and arts
