Our Clubs

At Bowmore Primary, we offer a range of lunchtime and after-school clubs that provide children with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills and spend time together in a positive, supportive environment.

Lunchtime Clubs

Our lunchtime clubs are often led by pupils, giving children the chance to take on leadership roles and share their interests with others. These clubs may include activities such as games, reading, digital learning and creative projects.

Pupil-led clubs help children to build confidence, responsibility and teamwork, while creating a sense of community across the school.

After-School Clubs

We also offer a variety of after-school clubs throughout the year. These may be run by staff, partners or occasionally by older pupils, and can include sports, STEM activities, arts and other interest-based groups.

Clubs are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable, allowing children to try new experiences and develop skills beyond the classroom.

Developing Skills for Life

Through our clubs, children develop important skills such as:

  • Leadership and responsibility
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Creativity and problem solving
  • Confidence and independence

Clubs also support children’s wellbeing by providing opportunities to relax, have fun and build friendships.

Getting Involved

Clubs change throughout the year depending on interests and opportunities. Information about current clubs is shared with families, and children are encouraged to suggest ideas and take an active role in leading activities.
