This week the children have been learning how to divide amounts using their times tables. If you would like a peek at the method we are using in class then go to:
Ms Steele’s Guide to Short Division on you tube.
Your child may also find this clip useful to watch at home.
Thank You
Mmmm…we wonder who will spot our elf door first?

Thanks goes to Blair for thinking of using a big box to make a stable for the baby Jesus! Our afternoon children were inspired by their Primary 1 friends after getting a sneaky peak of their dress rehearsal yesterday. Morning children will get to see it on a Thursday.

Miss Munro and Miss Butler were shocked to find some magical elves in their classrooms on Friday! They brought team building gifts and letters all the way from the North Pole! We are all very excited to see what they get up to in our classes over the next few weeks! 🎅🏼

After reading all about cress seeds, some of Ms Elder’s superstars decided to grow their very own cress in pots. They loved observing the daily changes and kept a visual photographic diary for all of us to see each day when we passed by the classroom. We hope you enjoyed tasting them at home on your sandwiches! Well done everyone!

P7 have been enjoying First Nations drumming sessions with Danny & George from Infectious Grooves. We’ve been developing our ability to play rhythms and poly-rhythms over the past 5 weeks.
Primary 4/3 have been really busy this morning creating some wonderful winter artwork for our corridor display. I am very proud of the children for their effort.

P5 have been learning how to book cinema tickets for Paddington. They used their knowledge of 24 hour times and coordinates to do this.
They have also been using Google Translate to translate a short text about themselves into French. Well done P5 !!

Looking forward to hearing about all of your favourite stories tomorrow Nursery boys and girls! We have started filling up our bookshelf with some of your lovely home learning stories that you have shared with us already! Looking amazing! We can’t wait to fill it up!! Keep them coming 📚
