This week P5 had their first rugby session with Sam from Livingston Rugby Club. We had lots of fun learning new skills and got very competitive in some of the team challenges.

This week some of our P7 children took part in some fun outdoor learning and baking activities with Mrs Steel.
They had fun at the swing park and enjoyed building dens in the woods. Today they have been making delicious Angel Delight Cones.
This week P1 visited WL College to take part in some Active Schools activities.
The children really enjoyed practising their ball skills and playing fun games. Some of their favourites were Duck, Duck, Goose, Domes and Dishes and Sleeping Pirates.
P6/7 and P7 had a visit from Santa this week. Pupils worked together in groups to design and create a new mode of transport for Santa. Each group then had to pitch their design to Santa, explaining how their mode of transport was environmentally friendly , cost effective, how it moved, etc.
Santa was very impressed with our designs! Well done to Santa’s winning team!
P6/7 and P7 kicked off the week with the first of the Christmas parties! We had fun playing some Christmas games, winning prizes, some yummy snacks and a Christmas film. It was great to get our dancing shoes on and get into the Christmas spirit!

P4/5 loved having their families in to share in their Literacy learning. We worked on reciprocal reading skills and were able to teach our adults these skills. It was so lovely to share some ERIC time with them too.
As part of our Children in Need focus last week, P4/5 worked in teams to Escape the classroom through solving Children in Need Literacy clues to identify the code to unlock the room.
Well done to the winning team who managed to get out first!
Halloween has featured a lot in our learning in P4/5 over the last week! One of our favourite experiences was experimenting with static electricity to make our spooky ghosts fly!
Our after school clubs are back up and running at Toronto!
Today we had both Multi Sports and Bikeability clubs. Our pupils are really enjoying learning new skills!
