Football Champions Football Festival

This week Primary 5’s “Football Champions” programme came to an end, and what better way to showcase our skills we have learned and developed over the last 12 sessions than to host a mini football festival!

Primary 5 have the best time working with David, a coach from West Lothian Community Foundation to develop leadership, confidence, and football skills.

STEM in P4/5

In IDL this week, P5/4 were learning about load, structural integrity and tension. We used this learning to work collaboratively to build a bridge using only lollypop sticks and sellotape. We then had to measure how much weight our bridges could hold. We used skills like prediction, trial and error and collaboration. We had great fun and were impressed with our structures.

A Busy Week in Primary 3!

Primary Three have been busy as always! We have been practicing our listening and created some crazy aliens by listening carefully to instructions. We have also been working hard writing information reports, learning different multiplication strategies and for Languages week we have learnt some Gaelic greetings!

Lots of Literacy in P2/3

Primary 2/3 have been learning to write information reports. Following on from Burns Night, we brainstormed what we know about Scotland, from the music, animals, landmarks down to the Scots Words. We created information reports about Scotland and created our own tartan by weaving paper. We also enjoyed singing ‘heids, shooders, knaps and taes’.
